This was a design developed during training in The Lir’s MFA program.

Deciding to give the witches the power to control the world from below and create a series of moving steel grates formed all the spaces necessary for the huge amount of scene changes.

The scale of the steel was influence by pictures of the World Trade Centre wreckage.

This set was designed for The Abbey Theatre Dublin.
