Close to the Sun written by Philip Doherty was part of Dublin Fringe Festival 2017. Designed for Smock Alley Main Space and a following tour it had to be a very adaptable design for both proscenium and thrust stages. The concept derived from the over cultivated falseness of stolen land taken from the aboriginal people and colonized by the British now under the ownership of Irish immigrants. This was a Corps Ensemble production.
