An Enda Walsh double bill of Disco Pigs and Sucking Dublin was produced by Reality Check Productions in December 2017 in Smock Alley Boy’s School. The set was inspired by the refracting of light, using color to tie the many levels of the space together as the director wanted the cast to inhabit every inch of the theatre. A clean white space with surrounded by strips of color allowed the vast array of scenes to be imagined through atmospheric lighting and a creative use of furniture and props.
This production received an Irish Times Theatre Awards Award for Best Ensemble.
